The Presence of Christ throughout the Bible

‘And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself.’

The incarnation of Christ, his life, his death and burial, his resurrection, are spoken about throughout the Bible. From Genesis to Malachi, from Matthew to Revelation, the Presence of Christ and God's plan of salvation are revealed.

When the two disciples on the road to Emmaus were at their most despondent, Jesus points them to what the Jewish Scriptures (Old Testament) said about himself to show that everything is in accordance with God's plan. What Jesus told these two disciples set their hearts on fire and changed their lives. The same can happen for us as we look at some of the same Bible passages. We’ll see Christ in the unfolding plan of salvation that will be completed when Messiah Jesus comes again.
