Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you
to give the reason for the hope that you have.
1 Pet 3:1

Traditional Christian belief is once again being challenged - inside and outside the Church. Biblical teaching about identity, sexuality, marriage, family and lifestyle, is at odds with recent changes in social views.

But the challenges go deeper as the very foundations of our faith are being questioned. Key aspects are being discarded by some and mocked by others as irrelevant and out of touch. So why should we still hold fast to traditional Biblical teaching in the face of growing opposition?

We will look at five of these foundational beliefs to know why we believe them and to protect ourselves from compromise and false teaching. It will also enable us to help others who may be questioning what they believe.

The Authority of the Bible; The Supremacy of Christ;
The Work of the Holy Spirit;
The Power of the Cross; The Impact of the Resurrection.
