Damascus Trust was established in 1990 to support the preaching and teaching ministry of Andy Paine and to enable others to get involved in Christian service. We are an interdenominational organisation based in Tamworth, Staffordshire and offer a variety of ministries. The name of the charity is based on the Apostle Paul’s life-changing encounter with the risen Lord Jesus on the road to Damascus as recorded in the Bible (Acts of the Apostles chapter nine). Like Paul, we have experienced the forgiveness and grace that are found in Christ alone and the freedom and new life that He gives. Now we want to share this good news with all sorts of people.
For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news! - The Bible (Romans ch 10 vs 13-15)
