WHAT IS IT? A small group of people who want to share the gospel of Jesus Christ, through word and action with anyone, anywhere, anyhow, anytime.

WHO CAN JOIN? People aged 18 and over who know Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord and have enthusiasm, energy and motivation.

WHAT IS REQUIRED? Being on a DT Team calls for a servant-heart, creativity, initiative and a willingness to get up and do.

WHAT’S INVOLVED? DT Overseas, is working with partners in Rwanda and Romania. Opportunities are varied and challenging ranging from practical work (building, agriculture, general maintenance, technology, water-harvesting, health work) to visiting and encouraging village congregations. Time spent with our Christian brothers and sisters in other countries is never wasted and we have as much to learn from them as we have to share with them.

WHAT’S THE COST? You will need to raise the funds to cover all your travel, food and accommodation costs. For overseas trips these costs range from £400 - £1200 depending on location and duration of visit (usually 1-3 weeks).

WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO KNOW? Depending on which team you apply to join, you may be asked to attend an interview. You will be expected to attend any training and briefing day for each mission (usually held in Tamworth, Staffs). You'll be working alongside Christians from different church denominations and cultures, so respect and understanding is important.
